I also write in public about the structural forces reshaping agencies and consultancies: AI compressing routine cognitive work, productised delivery, and what happens when the billable hour stops being the organising idea.

About
I have spent nearly thirty years across digital, data, and organisational transformation: global consulting, enterprise programmes, and hands-on product and platform leadership. The work I care about sits in the gap between ambition and delivery.
What that means in practice
- Growing and running large consulting relationships where recurring revenue and outcomes both have to move.
- Leading multi-year digital and data transformations inside complex organisations.
- Building in-house product and engineering capability, and embedding analytics and AI into workflows that change real performance metrics, not slideware.
What I believe
- Most transformation fails in the operating system of the work, not in the strategy deck.
- AI will not save a firm that cannot show its work, productise judgement, or decide what to stop doing.
- The format of consulting deliverables is about to change: from documents to interpret, toward systems clients can run.
In public
